You can feel the history when you drive onto the property. Old structures still standing. Cattle grazing in the distance. One of the original silos has been converted into a chicken coop, complete with nesting boxes from one of the original coops where hens were laying eggs while we talked. According to the family, they believe they were one of the first families to bring Angus cattle into Comanche County.
